Good-quality combustion is a very difficult thing to achieve. Its colour can vary from red to blue depending on the case in question. The redder the combustion is, the higher the fuel content (or the lower the air content), which means it is poorly optimised, while the bluer it is, the lower it is in fuel content, which means it close to perfection.

 

For the Turbo Jet DC 80, an enormous amount of work was carried out in order to optimise the combustion. The photo above allows you to gain an idea of the quality of this combustion at 117 000 rpm.
